Ministry

Ministry is an act of Love

For many years, the shelves in my home held a mini-library.  I collected hundreds of books over time and one of my "ministries" in those days was to lend books to people.  Books about Body life, marriage, family, Bible Studies, devotionals, novels . . . the list was quite large. If a book was a particular favorite, I had at least two copies of it (so I could lend one out, yet still have one if the lent copy didn't find its way back to me).  Hurricane Andrew sort of redistributed my library :-)  but I still love books.  (What was the first book that I repurchased after Andrew?  God Came Near by Max Lucado.)  My husband and I have moved a number of times since then and the ministry the Lord has led me to has changed somewhat, but I know what it is like to find treasure in books and to want others to discover some of that treasure as well.  If a book can help someone to seek the Lord or love Him more deeply . . . well that's just about perfect, isn't it?

With the above in mind, I wrote with the desire that my books would be used as resources for ministry and/or as witnessing tools that address topics such as salvation, faith, life choices, and the nature of God.  I realize that fiction (as with any form of art) might bless one person and do absolutely nothing for someone else, so be aware that the books in the Fellowship of the Mystery trilogy are fiction and they won't appeal to everyone. I didn't intend for them to provide answers to all questions for all people, but as a way for some to stop and look at Life and at themselves from different perspectives--sometimes from God's perspective--and to want to do something about their discoveries.  Many times, part of the process of seeing God in our lives and changing involves conversation with those who know Jesus more deeply.  So, perhaps, you may want to make my books part of your little library or to use them in your discussion groups.

I'm aware that, even among members in the Body of Christ, there are differences in methods and doctrines--but the important thing is knowing Jesus Christ.  If you agree with that premise, my books can serve as springboards for some great discussions about faith and our roles as Christians in this world.

If you or someone in your discussion group has questions about the books you’d like to ask, feel free to drop me a line at publisher

I'll be adding more content here (in the way of discussion themes etc.) as time goes by.

If you’d like group discounts on books, contact us at sales.

Blessings!
